Utilizing movement, sound, and visual communication, performers Mireille Rosner & Prophecy Sun constructed a multi-sensory experience encompassing human, terrestrial, and animal aspects. They employed walkie-talkies, vocalizations, and adjusted amplification techniques to develop a unified environment that integrated both performers and the location.
"Send and Receive" was realized through the combined efforts of Prophecy Sun (Performance & Sound Design) and Mireille Rosner (Movement Score & Performance), with additional contributions from Meghan Rosner (Prop Design) and Ash Tanasiychuk @ Vandocument (Video). Costume design was a joint venture between Prophecy Sun & Meghan Rosner. The presentation was part of the Oscillations Exhibition/ISEA, organized by Locomoto Art & Vancouver New Music at Charles Park, Vancouver, in August 2017.
